I was browsing the web for 2.3l lima modifications to improve gas mileage and found this:

My cable from the pedal to the cable end stud measured out to have 1.17 inches of play between. Now that I put some zip ties between the gap, the accelerator has much more response and I can hit the speed limit a lot quicker now to!

I added a few zip ties to my throttle cable yesterday to take up some of the slack. This is a great little mod.
