:read:  Appears to me a couple of the popular parts that seem to get destroyed or fall apart with age are the 80 2.3L crank pulleys and radio bezels! Those crank pulleys must be made out of pot metal they fold up when you apply the puller to em! I thought about the aluminum unit the guy makes but without timing marks? Guess I could lign it up with my old bent up one and scribe some in. Then there's the Esslinger piece little spendy and you have to add on the pointer.  The radio bezels are all the same all years correct? Just some are plastic and some are cast aluminum? With all the mini stock interest in the Pinto's I'd think that there would be some one producing sheet metal replacements for the pinto by now at least the early pintos as I'd love to dump my 80 front end for the prettier say 72 ! And those birth control bumpers! Some kids thought it was so coold that the back one stuck out so far they stepped up on it and walked across the roof hood and all ! Hopefully some day some one will return the favor to them!  ;D Oh yeah of course how could I forget the front lower valence! Thats another part that bites the dust early on!
