if there is a big interest i will call the corp. headquarters and get list from them
I'm all for it! I have two Wagons and it seems like most resources are just for the little guys.
My cars are drivers, and I'd like to renew some of the things that I know are going to leave me stuck one day.
I have a fairly nice binding machine in my office that would put everything into a nice spiral bound form - I'm willing to do the binding if we can get the documents into a word format I can print easily.
i posted this about 3 months ago and it didn't get allot of interest. i had intended to make a list of every part still available and who where. but again there was no interest
I'm certainly interested. I don't know how much time I've spent searching vendors each time I needed something. How do we get it started? I've emailed myself links for things I've been looking for. Should we just start sharing a link page and publish it say once a month or so?
my suggestion.... build a web page and list know parts vendors with contact info...
I was going to do this too... this is all I managed to put together...
http://www.cookieboystoys.com/parts.htm
problem is it takes a lot of time to find and post the info...
and then there are the updates... my weak point.
"If" someone were to put the info together I could redesign the web page above to accommodate. Plus I'm sure Scott might be willing to post it here too... I know at least one admin said it was being talked about/worked on... something like that...
I'll do some tinkering with the format, (when I can find some "free" time) and make a test page on my www.ridesbyrich.com website, and I'll send you a link. It'll be something like www.ridesbyrich.com/pinto_parts_resources... I'm pretty sure I can write a code that will let us weekly update and overwrite new resources and links. I'll start with copying my several emailed links for a demo.
Sound O.K. to you?

I would be very interested in a paperback catalog! That way I could just open the book, get the part number, go to the store and have them pull it out or tell me where to get it instead of having to cross reference and search all over for 20 minutes just to learn that they don't know what the part is!
i have been trying to find time to work on this. i really have! just cant find it. ive even called corporate reps for napa shucks and auto zone. they all say "go online" or what part do u need. when i say all of them they just tell me they dont have time for spacial interest stuff like that. i did how ever talk to a little mom and pop place who said they will give me all the number to all the manufactures.(aka help, bosh, raybestes, motor craft...........) if i came in when i had more time and if they weren't busy. however that hasn't happened yet.
