Title: Moroso oil pan in 302 Pinto
Post by: mrpinto on March 20, 2008, 01:34:10 PM
Anyone have any experience, or heard of anyone that used a Moroso front sump pan in a 302 Pinto?

I was going to buy the Milodon but it wasn't available. The Moroso looked pretty much the same clearance.

Just wondering if I'm going to have clearance issues with this pan.

Thanks

This is the pan.

I have read a post that stated specs for a Pinto that featured a Moroso Oil Pan. I assume it would work just as good as a Milodon, even though that is what I have on my 302 Pinto. I checked Jegs for ya, it doesn't say anything about stock but here is the link to a Milodon, its cheaper than the Moroso not by much though. http://www.jegs.com/i/Milodon/697/30925/10002/-1 (http://www.jegs.com/i/Milodon/697/30925/10002/-1) Hope this helped a little...

Looking back for the post to see who used a Moroso oil pan... it was your post! Lol your awesome engine featured a shiny new Moroso pan... so I guess this question is an old one and you went ahead and got a Moroso pan?
