My Pinto Story
Hey everyone! My name is Casey Beegle, and I'm a proud teenage Pinto owner. I am 16 and have actually already owned 4 Pinto's in my life, woo! It started and now has come to one Pinto in particular. My dad decided to start racing in 1994, with none other than a 1978 Pinto 3-door hatchback. The car is mainly a prostreet car, but at this point and through all its racing life has been strip only, which will change soon. The typical 302 conversion was performed, with a bunch of extras. I'll add the details in a bit, don't want to make you read all of this at once. Nonetheless, my dad grew tired of racing and the car was sold in 2002. But just at the beginning of last week, our opportunity to bring the car we missed so much had came. The guy that bought it was aging and didn't want to race anymore, he actually only had the car at the track 3 times the whole time he owned it. So we bought it back off of him on eBay, fortunately the car is just how we left it and is back home where it will stay as long as I live. Now for the pics...

Thats all the good pictures I have now, once the weather breaks and I can get it outside and cleaned up, I'll post better ones. Not a bad car for a 16 year old. In case you were wondering about the other Pinto's I've had: 1978 3 door hatchback (current prostreet), 1979 hatchback (64,000 original miles, 2.3L, Starksy and Hutch paint job, immaculate interior, resto project gone bad unfortunately.), 1979 Mercury Bobcat (donor car for the 79 Pinto hatchback, used engine and some body parts.), 1980 Ford Pinto Hatchback (302/ C4 transplant from 1978 Mustang II. Sold and was left to rot by new owner after full resto, very very depressing site.)
WOW nice looking car!
WOW....so much life in so little time! You're living the dream I had at 16. Have fun with it, Keep it safe, Feel lucky everyday of your life.... and :welcome:

I think and know I am VERY LUCKY to have a great dad who likes to spoil me lol. Also I'm lucky for the car. It's just ironic because I sold an Audi that I had and traded my 1991 Ford F350 for a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire as a daily driver, and had some extra money. I had been on the prowl for a Pinto for about two months now. I'm just so elated to walk out into my garage and see a beautiful, rust-free Pinto! Thanks for all the comments, I really enjoy posting at this forum.

It pulls off the ground quite nicely as a matter of fact, but isn't too mean. I have some pictures from the last time out at the track I'll try and post up sometime.
