Not bad of a price for just the horse and P. I had and old emblem which was missing the tail at the end of the O and I cut the horse off with a dremel and made a key chain out of it. :) This emblem would be a perfect specimen for such a thing.

Its my understanding that the " into" was the Japanese version only sold in Tokyo In 1981. Translated in to English it roughly means " small"

Well, now that we are talking translations....

The name 'Chevrolet' is a French word meaning "This car can not be fixed."

And in Spanish the Chevy "NOVA" means NO GO!!! (and they wondered why the NOVA didn't sell well in Latin countries) :hypno:

Ford re-named the Mustang to sell it in one country.

Quiz:

What country, and what name??

Since we're on obscure facts, other than the T-5 badging, do you know the one feature all of the exported mustangs/t-5s shared but most of the domestics did not have?

Hint #1: European bad roads.

Hint #2: Shelby GT350s all had it and domestic GTs didn't.

ADDED...

Hint #3: I put one on my 69 351 vert. and it made huge improvement from the 1st time I drove it.

ADDED...

Hint #4: The car felt much more solid up front.

Hint #5: Almost eliminated the "shimmy"  over bumps that mustang convertibles are prone to.

***COME ON guys and gals this is worth 10 Pinto Points!!!
(redeemable where ever Pintony says they are)

ADDED: 3-12-08

Hint #6: Remember these cars were for "EXPORT"

Export Brace.

I thought Ford used the T5 name since Mustang was registered already in Germany for a bike or motorcycle manufacturer.   ??

oh...Export Brace...it was on the tip of my tongue. I think 10 Pinto Points will get a 2.3 cam.
