Yes.
BTW: All 8" carriers are interchangeable.

I agree with Bill..
28 Teeth-spline
While we are on this subject...I currantly am changing my carrier from the single trak to the limited slip Ford I got from lil haus. While I was at a swap meet last weekend I came across a cone on a table that was clear to me to be the same size as my cone but it was marked 9". It was the borg-warner cone. Also... a guy came over last nite and noticed my work bench and said ohhhhhh...9" inch. Are the 8" and 9" that close in looks? They appear to be identical to me at a glance.

The easiest way to tell them appart at a glance (for me), is that with an 8", you can put a deep socket with a 6" extention on ALL the mount nuts. With the 9", you can't due to a buldge below the pinion.

Thanx Guys...That is just what I needed. I am going to the garage now to get busy.

9" Center section has either 1 or 2 vertical ribs and 8" center section has either 0 or 3 vertical ribs. (this is for FORD parts, some aftermarket companies may make them differently.)
