Title: Pinto update / Winter project
Post by: cfb289 on January 14, 2008, 02:10:11 PM
It has been a few months since my last update.  This past fall I finally got my pinto finished enough to drive it some.  I have the EFI system tuned pretty good for round town driving, but still need to do a lot of work on the fuel map above 15% throttle, and  above 4000 rpm.  Hopefully in the spring I'll get a chance to take it to a chassis dyno and finish the rest of the fuel map.  Hopefully I can get some video of the dyno runs.
Anyway since it the middle of winter here in Indiana my current project is helping a friend put a front clip on his car.  It is not a Pinto, but it is still a cool project.  Attached is the most recent picture of my pinto, and a few pictures of my friends project.  Can anyone guess what his car is?  Cheers.

Craig

Would MUSTANG be a good guess. 65 or 66 ? Looks like nice work. Really nice Pinto you have there.
