Title: Home made caltracs
Post by: wedge446 on January 10, 2008, 07:36:13 PM
I like to make my own parts when ever I can.. I found this web site while studying the ford rear setup...It seems that ford cars like caltracs for drag racing so I thought I would post this for the DIY guy out there.

Thats pretty cool. I made my home made CalTracs about 4 years ago but did it so I would not have to mess with the front leaf spring mount. I think I have some pics I will post.

I ran home made cal-tracs on my old pinto back in the early 90s.
Friends said the car would... and I quote " Dead hook in a mud puddle"

I made a set for my drag Maverick using the same plans as on that website. They work well. Worth doing.
