does anybody know if a console from a mustang-ii would fit a pinto wagon? thanx

Absolutely. The shifter & handbrake are in the same places(same with the "4eye" fox body cars)

There is a fly in the ointment though. You'll need the mounting bracket from the 'Stang, or to fab one yourself. You'll also lose the storage cubby below the dash.

I'm wanting one of these consoles for my 78 Sedan but there arn't any Mustang IIs in the yards around here. :(

I bought mine off someone on a mustang II forum a few years back. I also notice they come up on ebay from time to time.
