just stoped by to say hello, I had a Pinto from 75 to 80 and had to get rid of it to pay taxes, I was at a friends house and saw a pinto in the neighors yard, went over to see it and asked the guy if I could sit in it for old times sake, he looked at me as if I was crazy but said OK, WOW nothin like being home again. next he asked if I wanted to buy it, I asked how much, 100.00 he said, started up but ran ruff. no brakes but he said he would drive it to my house .$150.00 into it and it runs good. master cylinder had to come from pittsburge to wash. state. I'll keep you guys posted on all the updates, see ya
Welcome to the board and the wonderful world of Pintos.
$250 for a running Pinto isn't bad at all.
where in washington do you live?? I live in bremerton, right across the sound from seattle. I've seen about 4 or 5 other pintos in town, mine doesnt run because of a bad flywheel and needs a new starter. Nice to see another local person on the board.
Just wanted to reply, all I have in the car is $150.00, it is a 1974 wagon and it is so cool to drive, brings me back to my youth, I live in Buckley, Wa, right on the foothills of the cascades, the interior is dark brown and the color of the car is like something that came out of a babys diaper, it even came with a Lear Jet am fm 8 track tape player in the dash, and the 8 track still works!!!!!
Bremerton? I used to live there, over on University Point in Brownsville. My folks live out in Allyn, and have both of my Pintos (and I found out, they just were given two more...).
I REALLY wish I could get my two out here to Baltimore cheaply, as I want to finish them. But I see no way of spending a couple grand shipping a couple %20 Pintos across country, even if they ARE rust free...
yeah, i know exactly where allyn is, my ex lives out there, i actually live in seabeck, but no one knows where that is.
Welcome to the site ;D
