Does anyone know if the wiper switch in a 1971 is the same as a 1974 or 1976? No one at my local auto parts stores can tell me...Why they hire high school girls to look these things up I have no Idea.
Thanks
If not...does anyone have a 1971 switch for sale??
Hey Jamie Plastic:
The switch assembly for the wiper is the same for 1971 through 1975 and the part number is D1ZZ17A553A.
Green Sales in Ohio has 10 of them. Here is their site:
http://www.greensalescompany.com/
and here is their number: 1-800-543-4959
If you call them ask for "Doc" he is a good guy and has a Pinto himself.
