Title: My 1977 Pinto??
Post by: Jasonair1979 on December 26, 2007, 05:50:58 PM
I posted my baby on the classified section for sale...I listed it at $3800.  It's almost perfect (minus some non factory stuff like radio, wheels, and steering wheel)...did I price it too high?  Is it priced too low?  I don't really want to sell her...but my wife leaves me with no choice.  You know what they say...marriage is grand...but divorce is about a hundred-grand!  Please advise me.

Well, I'd say give it about a week & let the responses decide. It's too soon to tell if it's over priced at this point.

I kind-a agree with Matt. You need to have it on the market to really know. Also, the more places you post it, the more potential buyers will see it. The TIME on the market can help you too; the longer you can wait for the 'right' buyer, the more you might be able to get. If you NEED to sell it NOW, you might not be able to work with the best buyer.

Keep in mind that condition is VERY subjective, different buyers will have different opinions, and price will tend to be in accordance with it.
