This 79 Pinto on E-Bay has Vin. numbers that don't jive with our decoder here on FordPinto. Is it working ok. Or is there something fishy going on? 1FTHX25H3VED07343

This vin# that you posted is for a 97 F250 Supercab 351W. ::)
and that VIN is too long also. They're covering something or entered in a wrong number somehow.
I emailed them & they posted the wrong VIN. The right one is 9T11Y186261
Your 1979 Pinto 3 door hatchback was the 186261 unit built at the Metuchen - Pinto, Bobcat plant.
It was originally outfitted with a 2.3 I4 ohc engine from the factory.
r4Pinto,
Your fast!!!!!!

Why, thank you High_Horse. I was bored so I asked them about it & they sent me the right VIN.
