Title: I'm looking for a late wagon

I've been watching for some time. There must be a better way to find a later model wagon. Any Ideas?

Finding Pintos around my area is extremely difficult. I don't think it's much different *anywhere* in the world, for that matter.

I have a couple ideas for finding Pintos that I've been kicking around and may use myself. Both are related in approach.

1) Take out a classified ad in the local newspaper(s): WANTED: 1978-80 Pinto Wagon.

2) We have a radio show here called "Tradeo." I'm sure other areas may have similar shows. The stipulations for the one in this area is that you can't be a business and that the maximum price is $500. People call in with things they want to get rid of. Other people call in with things they want to buy. So if you have such a thing in your area, just call in and say that you are looking for a 19xx-1980 Ford Pinto wagon. You will pay a reasonable amount, depending on condition, up to $XXX.xx for one in good shape.

Hey, you may get lucky and catch the eye of someone who has a wagon they want to get some $$$ for. You may not get any response.

Either way, doing *something* is better than doing *nothing* and hoping one falls into your lap.

Good luck.

Well...
Ca Is a long way to ship or a god awful long road trip.
I'm in Florida. I'd go to Ca for "the right car" but I'm not that fond about the "woody"
