Strange Fact: Ford had a problem in Brazil when the Pinto flopped. The company found out that Pinto was Brazilian slang for "tiny male genitals". Ford pried all the nameplates off and substituted Corcel, which means horse!

I think chevy made one already. but they had a typo and it ended up nomad.

Well.....I wonder if it would have sold better if it was named something that was slang for the opposite.
