I forgot about that. I'll have to go & check it out this year. I got my 8 track & 77 Pinto specs book there last year.
I went to it today and didn't find much there. What I could find ran a pretty penny. I did get a 1977 Motors Manual and I'll be putting that to use.
Seemed like 90% of the stuff there was mustang related. I did see 3-4 nice Pintos though ;D
I liked the blue 72 & the green 80. Harley, my dad saw your Ralley & kept staring at it. The guy that had the 72 in the coral seemed nice. I talked to him for a couple minutes. 2800 seemed like a good proce for a 68000 mile Pinto. It was leaking oil & needed a little work though.
Hey Matt,
Did the 72 have the rubber floor mat and dog dish hubcaps??
yup, sure did
I have a set of photos of the Blue Pinto if anyone is interested.
When I looked at the car on my trip to get my Mustard 1971 1/2 Pinto Easter W/E 2007. The seller wanted 4500.00 at that time...
I can send photos to anyone interested...
SEE I do not buy them ALL!!!! ;D ;D ;D

I tell ya, if there was ever a time I had three grand just sitting around today was one of those times. I wouldn't mind buying that car & fixing it up. My mom actually had a 71 similar to that sedan there. Funny thing is my dad told me it was a 72, & I thought it was a 73. Wierd how he knows more about Pintos whan I thought.
Actually I thought the Blue Pinto was a bit rough.
Did you notice that it had a hole on both front fenders to mount a radio anteana???
From Pintony
Now that you mentioned it, I forgot about the other antenna hole. I guess I thought it was in decent shape cuz of my rough 77. Atleast it's coming along though. I still woulda bought either that or the 80 if I had the cash. I like the 72 style better than the 80 style though.
Am I the only person that likes the '79-'80 style better than the earlier styles? ???

That is NOT true!!!
My son Ben likes the 79-80 Pinto the most!!!
From Pintony
Throw me into the '79-'80 fan club crowd. I like them the most, with '77 coming in CLOSELY behind. I would own any of these!!
Chris
I think the 79/80 front end looks the "toughest" and is the Pinto I think deserves the V8 conversion. Tough pick as to which I like best but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a good example of the 79/80... wait a sec... I do have an 80... just not a good example ;)
I have had my 80 for the last 14 years, and i do not get tired of looking at it.The 79 and 80 is the most abundant in the central Ohio area.I also like the 77&78 models.

I tell ya Harley, my dad wasn't getting tired of looking at your '80 at the swap meet. You are right about 79-80 being most abundant out here in central ohio. I see very few... no, make that one 77-78 model & that's the one sitting in my driveway with the head off.
Pintoman:
And CENTRAL OHIO (Columbus/Reynoldsburg) was where I had my 79 wagin converted to a panel wagon, all white with flames, Did anyone ever see this car in that area (roughly 1993 time frame)?
Chris
Nope, but there's a 78 panel wagon with flames in the area. I think he's a member of the United Ford Owners
Definately a fan of the 79-80 body here!!!! Personally, I like them best, but every Pinto is a good Pinto!

Hey Crazyhorse,I built that wagon then I traded it for another car.It has been through 3 hurricanes. It needs some TLC but it is still running.Hey Bobscat did that wagon have blue or purple flames.
Hey I bad. That was Popbumper not Bobscat.
hahaha, Hey pintoman, that wouldn't happen to be the same car sitting next to yours in your picture would it???????
Thats the one.
