I have been thinking about removing my bumpers, or at least the rear bumper, i dunno i just think they look stupid. I will be removing the rubber and the extra metal from the front, then polishing it up to see if it will stay.

does anybody have pics of the early 70's pinto WITHOUT bumpers?

if i remove these, i will be selling them for cheap as well, i dont have room for bumpers in my garage.

The previous owner of my 73 converted the car to use 72 front bumpers and brackets.  When he did that, he s u c k e d in the front bumper.  I like it.  I need to trim the piece under the grille to match.  I also have an extra set of rear bumper brackets to modify and s u c k in to match.

I fixed my post.  Sorry, I forgot about the filter.  I will post a picture of the front bumper.  The rear is not done.

Here is a picture of my 73 with the front bumper.  I will need to trim the metal piece that goes under the grille to make it look better. 

Hey Tigger, That does look good tucked in like that. I was thinking about doing that to my wagon but wasn't sure if it would look right. Thanks for the pic. Post the rear when you get it done.
