Title: 71-73 Power brake conversion anyone???

Has anyone had any experience with putting power brakes on a early model car?? Searched high and low and cant seem to find any info.

Anyone, ive heard you cant swap a booster and master cylinder from a later car because of the firewall location???

Hmmm.

I think it would be fine as long as you're not running Hooker headers.  You will likely have to relocate the proportioning valve but nothing major.  I remember seeing them in the yards back in the day.

I had a power booster from(if I recall right) a Thunderbird V8 car.
it was narrow in DIA but long.. fit the car nicely but I decided to save weight everywhere and took it off.. this was on my 72 V8 with Hooker Headers...

i pulled one off a 81 mustang 4 a 73 (the wife's car) haven't put it on yet. ill let u know.
