Has anyone had any experience with putting power brakes on a early model car?? Searched high and low and cant seem to find any info.
Anyone, ive heard you cant swap a booster and master cylinder from a later car because of the firewall location???
Hmmm.
I think it would be fine as long as you're not running Hooker headers. You will likely have to relocate the proportioning valve but nothing major. I remember seeing them in the yards back in the day.
I had a power booster from(if I recall right) a Thunderbird V8 car.
it was narrow in DIA but long.. fit the car nicely but I decided to save weight everywhere and took it off.. this was on my 72 V8 with Hooker Headers...
