Be sure to get your classic cars and other valuable stuff out of harms way of the fires if you can.
This is looking bad....real bad :surprised:
I seen some news coverage and one guy in the San Diego area lost his home and shop...inside was a nice collection of vintage VW's and some other European cars....that sucks!!
Try to save the classics...no matter what they are.

UPDATE!!!!!
I just called Brad = Turbopinto72 who lives in San Diego
He and his family are in the 500,000 people evacuated by the fire.
He and his family are safe!!!!
The Green Turbo 2.5 Pinto is at his uncles and the Black Pangra is in Pacific beach area.
Brad said. "I could only see for about 100 feet because of the smoke when they were evacuated".
I also called Pintopower = Alberto. He says that there is ASH flying all around his home.
Call the people you know and see if they are OK....

He says the fire is 5-6 miles from him...

Many thanks for you all that checked up on me. Today is Wednesday the 24th and at 7:00 they lifted the mandatory evacuation for where I live. I am back at home now and everything is safe and sound. There is about 1/8 inch of blackish/red ash over everything and still smoke in the air from the fires still burning. Last night the wind shifted directions and took the fire to the East. There is also a new fire in Oceanside. I hope everyone who lives up there will be ok. BTY, as I was coming home today I was stopped at a red liget and across the street was a gas station. From inside the gas station I heard a guy say, " Hey Bill, look out side, its one of those Pangras" ;D
