How much do you put in and where do you put it ???

There is a fill plug mid way up on the passenger side. I usually add fluid until it starts running out the fill plug hole. The 86 ford manual says it holds 5.6 pints. Note this trans takes ATF and not the normal manual trans 90W gear oil.
