Title: Pinto makes Mustang Monthly Magazine
Post by: Tercin on October 22, 2007, 01:59:33 PM
Thats's right! I just got my November 07 issue and there it is, page 73 lower right corner. A Pinto is on a three car trailer sitting at the very top with two classic Mustangs. The caption below the photo says"Without a doubt, this is the strangest sight all weekend. If we scooped the newest wave in collector cars, remember you saw it here first."
I really don't think they were first, since we already knew that Pintos are the next wave, but at least we got in the magazine.
Does anyone know who that car belongs to? It is a 74 through 76 Squire Runabout as close as I can tell from the photo.

I think the Squire Runabouts were only made one year; 1976.

I know of someone that bought one with a V6 and is planning on removing all the fake wood then installing a V8; shame....

Good call Douglas
From the picture  i first saw it on eBay  about 3 yrs ago. It was listed as an estate car  in Cleveland, OH. To settel the estate they had brought the car from AZ where it had been there winter ride. It did not meet the reserve. A few days later it was re listed as being in AZ  same  story, did not meet reserve again. About a month later it was listed again but by a classic car dealer  . i Finlay found out the reserve by looking at there site. It was around $7,000. I then dissapeared  until about 3 months ago  when i found it on a different Classic car site in Utah. Price was  still  around $6,500.  then it was gone again.
It is a 1976 Bobcat 2.8 v 6 , Luggage Rack, Aluminum Rims, and the woody look. millage i think was around 60,000.i am sure it must be the same car.
NO it is not mine  but i really wish it were. The pictures i have seen make the car very beautiful.
