I recently acquired a 73 Capri with a 2.0 and has the C4 in it and I want to swap over the 2.3 turbo motor really soon. I want to know if anyone has any stepped dowels for sale and knows what else it takes..... converter, flex plate, etc. I have already been to Tiny Avenger site and cant find them there. Thanks

if you are going to modify the mk1 capri to a 2.3 liter. you will need the front K member from a 75 thru 78 capri mk2 with a 2.3 liter and its motor mounts and complete front struts from same said car.then you will have to decide what trans you want to use, modify driveshaft and what rearend gear ratio.its a matter of choice.you will have lots of fun. keep us updated

The converter is the same so you are good there, but you will need a flexplate from a 2.3/C4; you can get them at most auto parts stores; I know if someone that might have these parts.

Do you know his email? Every time I register on that site I seem to get denied, very strange! I have never even been on there before so its hard to say why they wont except me.

Why would I need to replace struts??? It already has a C4 and driveshaft, it just needs motor mounts and turbo engine.
