Title: electric superchargers

Has anyone ever tried one of these electric superchargers or are they just a SCAM?

Yeah, you change the filter for the electric supercharger at the same intervals you change your headlight fluid and muffler bearings.  Remember, if you get the hair dry..uh i mean, "electric supercharger" get the one with all the attachments for even more HP!

I seem to remember seeing this in a magazine article several years ago.  I believe they were driving a roots style supercharger with several starter motors.  On paper it sounds like it would work long enough to get down the quarter mile but I never saw a test on it.  Must of had some robust batteries and cables.
