I asked him if it really is a 2.5 and if it truly has a 9" rear. Not to put him down in any way, because if he was told incorrect info last year when he bought it, he might not know.

I also asked him what holds the hood shut.

Now for the wierd part, my brother lives in Allentown....

Not to be the 'Pinto-Police'....

I want to pass along some info:  I have been in contact with this seller; I aked him if he was sure it has a 9" rear and a 2.5l. He said he is sure it's a '2.5' from an 88 T-Bird, but not sure about the rear. I emailed him how to tell them from the 8" and 9" apart, and all the '2.5' info that I know, including that Ford never sold T-Birds with 2.5's. He has not replied to that email or one more after it asking about 2.3/2.5, nor has he changed the listing, even about the rear.

I am not telling anyone not to buy this car, this is just for info.

I was going to have my brother look at it for me (I would like to have a 2.5 and a 9"), but after this, I think I am going to pass on this one.
