 I just bought this baby today! I saw an ad for it in a local classifieds, and decided to have a look. He originally was asking $1000, then dropped it to $500 and I got it for $400 :)
I was expecting something much worse off, but apparently this car was well-loved by it's original owner and undercoated every year. I will be the 3rd owner of it and it has 60,000km on it (yeah, I'm Canadian). It has a 2.3L auto, which will be swapped out for a T-5 with any luck. It needs a paint job, and some minor reassembly of interior and exterior parts plus a really good cleaning. Everything works, and we don't see anything that would need to be done except exhaust for safety. It will be my little project :)
Here she is!

Thanks for looking!
Nice SCORE!!! There Ponygal,
Keep us posted on your progress.
So U R above the line at the top of our map??? ;D
From Pintony
Not a bad looking car Ponygal. It looks to be in decent shape. Nice find.... BTW, the gas cap is a Ford Item. I too am not really fond of locking caps but that kind is not too bad (my 73 came with one). They seem to seal nice and tight. Have fun with your car!
Kool, another 77 getting fixed-up.
BTW: I am looking for a locking cap and I can trade a new in the box regular chrome Stant cap for one.
Bill
Not to bad... and a good price too ;D
Have fun with it... ask questions as needed as there are lots of users here happy to help.
Thanks guys,
I will definitely be asking for help at one point or another. I see there is also an area for parts... I will be needing a set of manual (no power brakes) pedals in the future :)

Your Pinto must have A/C? I see a 65A alt. and it is on the drivers side.
Nope, no A/C, wish it did though :( The only option this one came with is power steering.
