What year did they change the door glass? I have a a door off an '80 on the drivers side, and a door off a '77 on the passenger. The whole window mechanism is totally different, as is the glass itself. I had inadvertently pitted the passenger side glass while grinding, and can't find one to replace it. I had gotten two windows out of two '78's and they are both the later style. I was under the impression that they were the same "scissor" style mechanism up till' '78 before changing in '79 to the slider type.

I tried to change the whole setup but they will not swap.

The wagons had different door glasses than cars.
The regulators are the same between car and wagon.
