i heard that a 1.6 spins in the opposite direct of the 2.0 and 2.3 is this true?

Hey dark89gsr,
That is totally un-true..
If it did then the transmission would have 4 reverse gears and 1 forward gears.
ALL Pinto engines turn clockwise from the front of the car...

in a old motor book i have it shows the dizzy spinning opposite of the 2.0 and 2.3

U R correct...
But the 2.0 & 2.3 dizzy R on the drivers side of the block.
The 1.6 is on the passengers side...
