Inside the fenders and quarter panels, around the marker light housings, there is a foam-like material which I believe is a weather seal or gasket of some sort. My two rear marker light "gaskets" have deteriorated and I need to find a way to reseal my marker lights around the quarter panel holes so I don't have water coming in from them anymore! My tail light gaskets are also deteriorated and need to be renewed in some way.
Is there some type of material I can use as a suppliment to the original gaskets to seal these up? I really need to get it done soon because it's starting the end of summer rain storms here in Idaho and my quarter panels are getting water in them, which is how I believe they are rusting through the bottom.
i used an old foam-like fender cover, the foam "crushes" just right and it will take years to get that stuff to rot. give that a try....tony v

I think I can help...
