Post by: pintoches on September 25, 2007, 10:40:05 PM
Looking for info on ford cars that had a 8in or 9in rear end with disc brakes.
or other cars axles that will work under a pinto.

Do some research on the Lincoln Versailles, around late 70ish to early 80's, Someyears in that time frame came with a 9" disc brake rear. Good luck, every junk yard in-town never has the rear under these cars in my area.

I agree with CR, if one could be found it would be the easy way to go (install wise, but would be 5 lug), but maybe not the cheapest. Don't forget to grab the E-Brake cables if you find the rear.

I think Granadas had them with the ESS package (?).
