Title: New Pinto storage
Post by: FlyerPinto on September 25, 2007, 12:47:54 PM
After what seems like months of construction, the fleet is finally back indoors. I have my 77 Bobcat and both Cruising Wagons (77 & 78) stored inside on a concrete floored garage. I was working on the fuel pump/system of the Bobcat when we started construction preparation back in May, and haven't been able to get back out there. Now the cars have been shuffled into their proper positions in the garage, the power was turned on (finally...) and I should be able to get back to work in a week or so. A concrete floor is going to be nice; working in gravel isn't much fun. Not trying to brag or anything, I'm just excited. Now I can really cause some damage!

Flyerpinto,
congrats on the floor. I wish i had a concrete floor.  :(  but it was not in the budget this year.  but i did get a 20x20 garage.  ;D  so i fully understand not wanting a gravel floor.

I've pulled as much gravel and as many spiders and bugs out of my hair and clothes as I care to. This has been a long time coming. Congratulations on your 20x20, concrete can't be far away!

Finally, after 9 years, my concrete driveway was poured yesterday. The driveway pouring means the outside of my project is nearly complete, but more importantly I have a decent way to get my Pintos in and out of the garage. Of course, they can't come out to play now for two weeks while the concrete cures, but I can live with that.
