Hey Guys!
I wanted to let you know that on Sunday, October 7th there is a great show at La Palma Park in Orange County. Five of us went last year and had a great time. the Venue is really pretty and the club that runs it (The Early Ford V-8 Club) are a great group of guys! They love having us there and we love being there. If you live near by and can make it (like Pintony) we would love to see you all there! Here is the info:

So far I think there are about 10 of us going. Hope to see you guys there!
Hey guys, I hust got back from the car show and it was great! Nice and sunny, parked under some palm trees lounging on the grass...it was a nice day. We had a nice turn out and the club that invited us was glad we were there. We had 2 pintos that won awards voted on by the Early Ford V-8 Club....you will need to read on to see who won!
The first car is driven by Brian - a 73 Pinto Squire Wagon
Here is my 80 sedan - My sister Francesca (SirHugh) drove it. Her car is getting a new engine as we speak so Hughie was not availible.
And here's the interior....
Bob Patlian's (Bipper) 71 sedan - All original - driven by Barth Hamilton
Barth and Bob's Pangra - After Barths 6 month engine cleaning for the West Coast Pinto meet, the engine bay was so bright and chrome by this time that he was asked to close the hood by the FAA...seriously. Now if he would only drop an engine with more than 4:1 compression in it...hint hint...
And here we have our dear friend RacerX with his lovely 24x,xxx mile 74 Pinto! Yes, almost a quarter million miles and looks like a 40k garage kept car!
And here, a car belonging to a 4" tall garden gnome that we all lovingly refer to as Thomas. We built this car for the Oklahoma Pinto meet. We did it in 3 WEEKS, from a shell to a beauty!!!! It was a FULL, ALL OUT restoration, EVERYTHING NEW! It's not my car but I show it off just as much as he does!!!! Could not have done it without Jimmy and Barth! It is a 72 Pinto Sedan.
Here's a shot of the engine bay of Thomas's 72
And last, a shot of the interior. Gauges are in temporary locations until we install the gauge pack that MAP351 made.
Here is my Restored 80. 100% in house resto, even the paint.

And the Interior.
Here is the group!
Left to right
Brian - Alberto (Pintopower) - Barth - Thomas - Francesca (SirHugh) - Niki - Bob (Bipper)
Not Pictured - RacerX, who is a sercet agent.
What you can't see is that aside from Brian, we are all wearing Ford Pinto Shirts!!! Brian was severly scolded. He is now purchasing one.
Pintony - This picture is for you....
Thomas says "Hi"
And here are the cars that got awards by the Early V8 Ford Club.
Left - Bob's 71, driven by Barth, won best in class in the Pinto/Maverick class. This car won the same award last year. This leads me to believe that Bob is bribing the judges. Time for me to pay him a visit.
Right - Thomas's 72 won "Ladies Choice," which my sister won last year. Thomas is currently unsure what to feel about this award. He is however, considering his next pinto to be painted pink....Eh, maybe that won't help.
