How do you get the seats to release from the tracks to pull out the seat? I need to work on the floor and under the dash so any help would be appreciated.

Hello hellfirejim,
The seats unbolt from the bottom of the car...
From Pintony
1/2" deep socket.
Take a wire brush to the threads before you try to remove the nuts, then some PB or WD and they normally come right off.

Rats, the seats don't slide off the tracks???? This isn't the final floor fix, just wanted more room to work.
If that's it then that's it and i deal with it. thanks for the replies.

Hey Jim, if you want to remove the Seats from the Tracks it's just a 7/16" (socket) bolt in the very front and very read of the Track, in the Center. You could try that ???

Thanks for the info. As it turns out I was able to bend these old bones into enough of a pretzel to work on the wiring. Man there is no room for in these little cars. I definately am getting a 3 pod unit from map351.
My biggest issue right now is finding a switchable 12 v power supply. See the my other question in the help section.
thanks
jim
PS:
This info will still be valueable as one of my next steps is to treat and then insulate the floor. So this stuff won't go to waste.
