Is there a firewall reinforcement piece for where the clutch cable goes through, that bolts under the master cylinder?
Hey Doug,
Just use a BIG washer on the engine side of the firewall.

Actually, I found that the reinforcement piece is already there, whether or not there's a clutch.
Now, is the plate between the firewall and the pedal support the same on power and non-power brake Pintos?
Sorry Doug,
I do not know the answer. Ford never made a Pinto with power brakes and a
2.0 engine... ;D
From Pintony
no the plates are different for both power and manual diskbrakes from 74 to 80. so when you do a change you have to have all of the parts.as for the a pinto with a power disk brakes and a 2.0 motor. well i saw one a few weeks ago get crushed. so i guess they are rare lol

Maybe not a 'factory' one?
