Hi Folks:
I recently purchased the 1973-79 Ford Car Master Parts and Accessories Catalog, Form FPS-8094-A&B from HiPo Parts Manuals on e-Bay at:
http://stores.ebay.com/HiPoParts-Manuals_Ford-Car-Catalogs_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ877130QQftidZ2QQtZkm
This catalog is in CD form and cost $24.95 with $5.00 shipping.
This catalog is a must if you are restoring your Pinto or Ford Car in years 1973-79. It lists every part, defines them, gives exploded diagrams showing the part's location and gives the part number like D5FZ16098A, etc. You can find parts by four methods, known basic group number, part name, illustration, and identification. For $24.95 this catalog is fantastic.
I have been trying to find the complete vacuum diagram for my 1977 Pinto for years and have had no luck. However, this catalog has the complete diagram and shows all the vacuum lines. Just for that alone it was worth the $24.95 for me.

Interesting.... I assume lists interior parts as well? I have been using a Mitchell Collision Guide for years but it does not include interior. It has come in handy so far but what you found may be better. Thanks!
77pintocw,
Does it also include vacuum diagrams for a 76? I have had the same problem with my car.

Purchased mine,
Thanks!
Hey TIGGER:
Yes, it includes every interior part with numbers, figures, etc. If you have
something in mind let me know and I will try and find it and show you the
kind of figures from the catalog.

Hey Phils toys:
Yes, it has '76 Pintos. I will try and find the vacuum diagram for the '76 and send it to
you. It might be a few days since things are rather busy around here.

Hey Scott:
Great, it is actually a lot of fun to see all of the information about your Pinto in the
diagrams.

Hey Phils toys:
What size engine do you have in your '76 and does it have Calf. emissions?
Thanks,
77pintocw
Hey TIGGER:
Here is an example of an interior figure. It shows the item and the group number. You go
to the group number index and it shows you the item name and the Ford part number.
For example, in Figure 1 take the group number 51752 which is on the left side of the figure
and shows it is the headliner molding. Figure 2 shows the group number index and for example
for Pinto "L" code and 73/ meaning 73 through subsequent models the Ford part number is
D3FZ7351752H for the RHS and D3FZ7351753H for the LHS.
Hope this helps!

Thanks 77pintocw, I think I will have to pick one of those up now ;D
hehe... I just find the "Youth Van" thing comical. At the bottom of the interior exploded view it says "PINTO - BODY TYPE 73 (EXCEPT YOUTH VAN)"
One can assume they meant the CW?

2.3l and I am not sure about Calf . emmisions. I do have the smog pump and Cat converter. I think the vacum reserve tank is on the pass. side. if that helps.

Thanks.
Hey Phils toys:
Attached is the main figure of the vacuum lines for a '76 Pinto. There are at least
4 other figures showing minor lines from the air cleaner, reserve tank, thermactor system,
etc. that you can get from the CD. This gives you an idea of the kind of detail you
can see from the CD catalog.
Thanks,
