Somebody was telling me about a specialty wheel for a small die cutter with a name like Rolex, Rollex, Rollecks, Rollix, Rollicks, or etc. Apparently it has a whole lot of plastic bristles which makes it good for cleaning up surface rust, gasket residue, etc on blocks and heads. I'm looking for somebody to point me in the right direction on this. Thanks!
We have at the plant I work in what I think are called "Roblec" disc's.
They are Scotchbrite disc's that we have in two and three inch diameter. They have a course reverse thread on the back that screws into a rubber disc of the same size with a quarter inch OD shaft on the back for a die grinder.
The ones we get come from 3 - M and are excellent for the use you mentioned. They are also good for buffing sheetmetal.
We have three different grades, and they can be used as mild abrasives. The same company also has regular sanding discs made the same way.
I think Eastwood sells them but try a auto paint speciality store or maybe NAPA.
Hope this helps.

Looked at a box today at work, the right name is: " Roloc ".
3 - M brand P/N 048011 - 05532.
A CRS Grade.
These are the most course that we have. They will leave a mark on steel or cast iron if left on long enough.
I use them with straight or angle air die grinders.
Every once in awhile I bang them into the piece I'm working on and they will come off the rubber holder.
They flit all over the place when they hit the floor at high rpm. They are pretty light so they don't really hurt anything.
