I have a 77 Bobcat hb I just love. I'm planning on a total restoration, a little bit at a time of course. In the meantime, I have acquired a second Pinto Cruising Wagon, a yellow 77. Because of the odd circumstances under which I got the car, I don't yet have a title. In Ohio, this is a problem. My question is this, if I were to cut out the floor of the CW, would it fit the Bobcat? My thinking is that it should but I'm not 100% certain. I am in the midst of remodeling my home and at this point all four of my cars are in the back yard (classy!) and all of my data books are packed deep away in the basement where my wife and I are living until construction is completed. So I don't know if the cars share the same wheelbase, but I think they do. The only real difference as I recall was the body. Someone please let me know if you could. While I have found another Bobcat for a floor, it will cost me several hundred dollars to have it cut out and shipped. I would consider selling the CW, but if the floor fits the Bobcat I would feel kind of foolish having one cut apart and sent to me when this one is in my yard. The other side of the story for me is that I would hate to eliminate a Cruising Wagon from the world, there don't seem to be all that many out there. How 'bout the floor guys, will it work? If anyone would have an interest in the CW, I can post all the info about it, I just wasn't thinking about selling it just yet. ???
Wagons and non-wagons share the same floor to the rear seat, and have the same W/B.
About a year ago I posted good solid floors for sale, but I had no takers. They were in an old mini-stocker I was junking; I should have kept them but...
How about converting the C/W to a Bobcat C/W??

Sadly, I wasn't on this site a year ago. Believe me, I would have taken you up on the floors. Not having a title on the CW makes it close to expendable for me. I had put money down on the car when I found it on E-Bay. The guy was a nightmare to deal with though and it took months to get things done. He didn't come through until I threatened to call the police and E-Bay both to report him. He was going to give me my money back or give me the car for what I had alread paid him, which was half the asking price. I wanted my money back, having already found a Cruising Wagon locally that I bought from Hairball (great car!). He started hemming and hawing around again and it took more time to reach him. I figured he didn't have the money to give back to me, so I ended up driving to Illinois with a trailer to get the car and bring it home. At least that way I got something for my money. I'm still waiting on a notarized original bill of sale...
If I take the floors out, how much interest would folks have in the parts?
