Hi all from the cool coast of Cailfornia. Thanks to the moderator and the group, for this awesome resource for Pinto owners. I recently rescued a 79 from the going to the salvage yard. There was basically nothing wrong with her, fuel pump, gas lines, tires and a broken windshield. After a month of weekends, a tune, and some elbow grease she just passed smog. All I have to do is replace the forward carpet, radio bezel (so I can cut it for a stereo)and I'm rollin. I look forward to reading the posts and any possible so-cal owner get togethers.
