I know what the feeling is like.  To jump on the throttle for the 1st time after a turbo installation.  What were your thoughts/feelings before - during - after that 1st full throttle pass after installing the turbo.  Like I said been there done that (many times/many cars) but I've never heard it voiced from others.

I used to work for Porsche and my first experience with a turbo was a 930.  Yeah I know, Sweet!  Anyway the best way I would explain it was upto 3000 rpm there was not much but when the turbo came on it felt like somebody had their hand behind me and gave me a great big shove and kept on pushing.  What a rush and really pissed off that corvette.  : )

BTW: Another great rush was when you stood on the brakes and this thing slowed down like you had dropped the chute.

My first experiance was with a Turbo Coupe. The first thought after  I hit the Gas was WOW.........then the second thought "This thing is F-ing AWSOME!!!!!

Then I realized I had made such a BIG mistake when I put a V-8 in my Pinto.

 My first time with a turbo . I was 16 and a guy had a 1984 Turbo mustang for sale for 1200 bucks. I thought well its something different so i thought id go take a look at it. The first time i started it i thought it sounded very unique and once that motor hit 3200 rpms i was hooked now iam builing a 79 hatchback with a turbocoupe motor. all i can say is TURBO become addiction!
