Title: Changing from transistorized to points dizzy
Post by: Bernie on June 21, 2007, 10:41:47 AM
I want to change my '76 pinto electronic distributor to a points based one.

Can I use the same coil if I add a resistor?

Is the resistor wire in the harness already?

Any other problems that anyone can anticipate?

Thnx, Bernie

Just use a ballast resistor, being it is electronic they did not use a resistor wire.As for the coil you don't need to change it.
