it's a 275-60-15. goodyear drag radial
hows this
Absolutly Badass!!!
ok that fills me with Pinto Envy.... very bad for me....
What rear suspension are you running? Have you relocated your leaf spring mounts? Care to share what backspacing your rims are?
and last question for now... did you trim the wheelwell?
Seeing your car fills me with hope. I was heading towards a backhalf kit and years of my car being on jackstands.... I'd have NO trouble running with a 275/60-15... That's a Goodyear yeah?

stock suspension i.e leafs. no did not move the spring they are in stock location. home made slapper bars with rancho 9000 shocks.
yes i did roll the wheel lip flush with the inner wheel house.
wheel backspacing is 4 1/4 inches with a 15x8 wheel for the 275-60 tire.
if your going to use the weld drag lite get the 41/2 backspace wheel and use a 1/4inch spacer.
i have run a tire as big as 28x101/2-15 m/t slick with a 41/2 back spacing on a 8 inch wheel.
goodyear discontinued there drag radial tire. the hoosier d/r is very good tire allso.
no need to backhalf it my car has been in the 1.30s 60ft. on the radial tire
