Title: Chrome Trim Question
Post by: dave1987 on June 18, 2007, 04:47:43 AM
I was planning to go to the wrecking yards this week after pay day and grab the chrome trim off the doors and windows of a sedan and possibly install it on my 78 Sedan.

I know that the door trim is all held on by pin-like clips that the trim snaps onto, but how about the rear windows? How does the trim attatch around the top of the window?

Also, if I can find under-door trim, how is that held on?

The rear window trim is held in place by the rubber seal.

How about door trim? Is there some type of adhesive or any way of adding clips to hold it on besides spot welding?
