Title: C3 BINDING WHEN TIGHTENED TO MOTOR

HI AGAIN, JUST SWITCH OVER TO A C3 BEHIND MY 2.3L MOTOR. THE TRANY GOES IN FINE BUT THE LAST 1/4" IS BINDING. IT WILL GO IN IF BOLTS ARE TIGHTENED BUT MOTOR ACTS LIKE IT'S LOCKED UP UNTILL PRESSURE ON TRANY BOLTS ARE BACKED OFF. ANY IDEAS ON MY PROBLEM? THANKS, STEVE

torque convertor not fully seated, wrong convertor, pilot bearing still in the end of the crank and in the way? just a few things to look for.

It was the torque converter not clicking in that last bit, bolts removed from torq. to flex and loosened everything else and got her. Man was i worried that we might of done some damage or the trany was trash, i guess time will tell. thanks again for all the help. Steve
