I have seen some pictures of front mounted IC's. What does it take to do this. Does the intake just rotate forward and bolt or is there fabrication involved? What IC is recommended and readily availible? Renault, Volvo, Aftermarket? By going front mount, will there be room for the brake booster? Is there anyway to save the booster? I have the 11' Granada brakes on my 1980 pinto sportwagon.

I'm going to awnser your questions in the order you have them listed:
1. To do a FMIC you will have to do some cutting/hole cutting on your core support.
2. A rotated Upper has to be cut then rewelded this is a good time to hog out the runners. That all depends on what FMIC you get, if that even needs to be done.
3. IC's that are availible all depends on what JY you go to. All of the IC's you have listed will work it comes down to SIZE. Measure to see how much room you have the go JYing. I had a Renault on my last 80 Wagon (it was internally finned), the present Wagon I have a Mitsubishi Fuso. Look at Box Trucks or other large Trucks (Diesel).
4. The FMIC should not interfere with your Brake Booster at all.
Hope that helps.
