I am restoring a 71 from bumper to bumper, it has 43k miles on it, I can tell the oil pan was black and the vale cover was old ford blue, was the block old ford blue or black? anyone know?

Hello fordpinto1971,

The 2.0 Block left the factory Black.
The 1.6 was also black.
Keep us posted on your 71 resto. 8)
