Title: Floor pans???
Post by: unmarkedcarr on May 25, 2007, 10:48:07 AM
So, my 1978 Pinto was just delivered to me from Ohio yesterday.  I bought it sight unseen and know now that it's going to need some work.  The floor is rusted through on one side and starting on the other.  What do you all suggest as a remedy?  Are there floor pans available and, if so, how are they installed?  I'm kinda new at this car repair stuff so please bear with me.

I have not found any aftermarket ones.

They are simple to make, but should be 360* welded when installed.

Last year I junked an old mini-stocker I had; I am kicking myself for not keeping the MINT floors from it.
