Post by: tony v on May 10, 2007, 09:17:28 AM
im in a jam AGAIN!i need to know what axles will work in the t.c. rear to convert to a 5 lugger. i have heared that 2 driver side axles from a ranger will work, ok, that said, are the axles from a 4x4 or a 2wd, and what years will work. i ran into a junk yard here and the guy is almost givin the stuff away. its an older yard and if you need almost ANY datsun parts this guy has them..... thats how old the yard is! thanx again.   tony v

I know the Ranger axles are used on the Fox Mustang 8.8 5-lug conversion but I am not sure about the TC.  If the axles are the same width between both cars, I think it should work?  To my knowledge, there is no difference between a 2wd and 4wd Ranger rear axle(87-92).  Both are 28 spline.  I think the later 00 and up FX4 trucks use 31 spine axles but I am not totally sure.  Sorry, I am probably am not much help.
