i need some help on the intercooler. i have a 74' wagon and im dumpin the 88 t.c. in it. i dont wanna use the interheater that came with the motor so which intercooler will fit in the front by the rad? im makin the boneyard run soon so i really could use the tips!!!! thanx and remember.... rubber side down! tony v
A lot of people use Volvo innercoolers with good success.
Starion/conquest is another option.
as is a saab IC.

The only thing to watch for with the Volvo is the plastic tanks.
I agree, you need to run an I/C with the 88 T/C set up, and the stock I/C location will not work in a Pinto without ductwork. Almost any I/C will do, but try to get one at least the same size as the stock one.
BTW: I am running a stock T/C I/C as a FMIC in my Pinto.

Don't forget about the Small Isuzu NPR!
There is somone on this site or TurboPinto.com, that has one installed with pics. That's what I am looking for. Only down side is, either has to be Plummed for it or a Rotated Upper Intake is required since it comes out on either side of the Rad.
