Title: 3N71B Courier trans?

A guy told me he has a C4 in a Courier but I am not sure that they came in it. I read they came with a 3N71B Jatco. Whats the difference?

Jatco = Japanese automatic transmossion co.
I do not see a C4 listed in the Ford parts catalog for Courier.

Well I bought it after doing some research on it and it should hold some real hp. I am going to put in the Pinto this summer after rebuilding it. I guess it was the Japanese answer to the C4. Mazda and Nissan guys use them to withstand 750hp so it should do the job... at least for now.
