I know this is probably about the easiest thing in the world to find for a Pinto, but I need new supports (pistons, shocks, whatever you want to call them) to hold up the hatch on the 77 Bobcat. It would be great to keep it open with something other than a 2"x4"....Any good place to go? My local Ford dealer looks at me with fear and loathing in his eyes when I walk through his door, he has very little to help me with, and seemingly less access to people who do.
Thanks.
I need a pair myself but I am not using the car so I decided to wait. Try Ebay, I see them on there from time to time. They are new replacements, not used ones. Good luck
I'll give it a go, thanks!
These are still listed as available at Autozone.

you could order online if you are not near a B & M location.
I got mine at the local auto parts store, as I recall they had me bring one in to match up the ends.
Thanks for the tips, I'm going to try Autozone tomorrow. Yeeha!
